Comment on I’m *** in avery bad society(arab country)? by Sarah

First off, you should know that there is nothing bad or shameful about being ***. A lot of people are; even a lot of animals engage in some kind of ********** activities, so it can hardly be called unnatural. What makes you feel bad is that you've accepted your culture's unthinking **** of homosexuality, and you should reject such hatred, understanding that it has no basis in reality.

Hopefully, if you look around (carefully though!), you'll be able to find other homosexuals at University to share your concerns and learn more about yourself from. It's more likely than elsewhere, for various reasons. As you've discovered with Yahoo Answers, you'll also find information and some sympathetic ears on the internet. While it would be a great idea to join a GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender) club and/or find a *** bar you like going to, it (sadly) is less likely that you'll find such places in a country like Syria, though they do exist.

The most important thing you can do is to accept and love yourself, because as I've said, being *** is neither wrong nor shameful. Second most importantly, it sounds like your father attacked you; am I right? It would be a good idea to stay away from him, as much as possible. Better yet, finish your degree and immigrate to somewhere in western Europe if you can come up with the money; it's a much more tolerant society and you can probably earn a better living there, too.

Since you have a sore throat, you should see a doctor. It is probably just a cold, or an allergy, or perhaps you are tired from working so hard.
If you had the flu, your body would hurt a more. You would feel like someone had dropped you from a second-story window, then run you over with a car.
However, just because it's not the swine flu doesn't mean that
you are not still sick. You are and you should take care of yourself and rest and think about how you can keep from spreading your malaise to others. Also, since your body is fighting off germs, you will want to give it some help, with rest, water, good food, vitamins. This is not the time to miss sleep or meals.
Grab a good book and a hot drink and lay down awhile. 8>)

I sympathise, my friend, I've been there. All the advice didn't help, I just ended up accepting myself and edging toward a situation where the environment and external stimulations were manageable. I finally achieved it, stable family, very quiet reflective existence, and it's much easier to stay calm when the outside world impinges - it always does to some extent. I can now look back and know that maybe things were relatively normal back there, but, to be honest, getting out was the only way for me and my personality.

Hope you manage to migrate out of 'your' nightmare environement. Good luck.

Well, it's possible, but it's just as equally possible you have regular flu, if you're worried there's a leaflet that the government's given to every household giving you information about it. They give an information line that will give you the official latest advice which is : 0800 1 513 513

If you're still worried however you can call your GP, or NHS Direct which have a variety of numbers depending where you live, which you say is southamptonshire so I assume you want the NHS England number which is: 0845 4647 hope that helps, best to hear it from people who know rather than those who are speculating on websites like this :)
