i have a treeing walker coonhound. he is 8 mo. old and this is his first spring. we live in tucson az and we have a lot of blooming plants and grass in our yard. we do not have anything poisonous to dogs but everything is in bloom. hard to believe in this climate but we love having an oasis in our yard and work hard to keep it we just don’t want our dog to be miserable. our pooch has a rash inside his ears and some redness in between his toes. not to mention the inside mouth red and inflamed

Some dogs, like some people, have allergies. I would strongly suggest taking your pup to the vet to discuss his inflammation and put him on daily medication.

The good news is that allergy medication is usually inexpensive and quickly effective.

I would take him ot the vet.It may be allergies, which are not usually serious, but when the mouth becomes inflamed,it could spread to the throat and affect his breathing,so you really need to get him to a vet. In the meantime, you can give him a Benadryl or a Chlor-Trimeton to help with the rash.
