Why does the London-based press still **** Oasis?

This may sound odd, Miss Alexis – maybe they’ve grown up…but as someone else has observed, kicking seven colours of daylight oot of each other gets the tabloids purring (and spitting) at the same time.

    they do have a point, oasis haven’t made a good album since morning glory. Theres been a few good singles but thats about it, maybe if they make something really good then the papers will write good stuff about them

    My vote is because of the bickering between brothers that resorted in cancelled shows, delayed album releases/recording, and press disaster. Their antics were world reknowned. Noel and Liam Gallagher would fight so badly with one another, according to most sources, that working together seemed almost impossible after the group hit it big. The media bashed them because drama sells, and when a top 40 band is led with a family feud, it sells scandal sheets. Frankly, I am surprised that there is another album coming together, what with all their previous nonsense.
