the best way to travel in london is by underground, I'm planning to go to see boyzone this summer in Wembley, my friend who lives in london recommended a nice b&b nearby, it's called the Windmill and it's in Cricklewood, she told me that I can take bus 245 to get to wembley and it takes 15minutes.I think that Heathrow airport is the closest and the cheapest, a cab from heathrow to cricklewood costs around 20 pounds and the underground is even cheaper.. good luck

Most long haul flights and large airlines such as BA and Air France, you will land at Heathrow or Gatwick. If you're traving from Europe on one of these budgets airlines such as Easyjet or Ryanair, you will fly into Stanstead, Luton or Gatwick. If you use one of these city jet flights other by BA (and some other airlines) you will land in City airport.

Heathrow - Take the Heathrow expres to Paddington and then any tube line to Baker Street. From Baker Street catch a Northbound Jubilee or Metropolicatian line to Wembly Park

Gatwick/ Luton - Take a Northboud (from Gatwick) or Southbound (from Luton) to Kings Cross. From there catch the Metropolicatian Line to wembly Park

Stanstead - Take the Stanstead Express to Liverpool street and then the Metropolicatian line to Wemby Park

City - Take the DLR to Canning Town and then change to the Jubilee Line to Wembly Park

As for hotels check out my resources

any of the London airports would be OK ... from Heathrow take the Piccadilly line underground from Heathrow to Green Park, change to Jubillee line to Wembley Park ... from Gatwick take the Gatwick Express to Victoria rail station, then the Victoria line underground one stop from Victoria to Green Park, and the Jubille line to Wembley Park ... from Luton take the coach to Victoria, then continue as before ... from Stansted take the Stansted Express train to Tottenham Hale, transfer to the underground, Victoria line, to Green Park, and the Jubilee line to Wembley Park
look at the underground map at
you can also use the journey planner on the Transport for London website
so I'd say go with whatever airport gives you the best flights

Heathrow - but any of the London airports can get you into central London and then you can go onto Wembley.

Best way to get to Wembley is to take Tube, the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines stop at the station.

Heathrow is easiest bet.
Take the tube to Wembly Park tube, walk to stadium.
Travelodge 1 mile away, quoting typically £29/night but may be much higher if they know an event like this is on!

Heathrow is the nearest airport to Wembley, from there is about half hour by car. Or get a tube, which can take ages.
