Poppy Bird by Bromheads Jacket
Champagne Supernova and Live Forever by Oasis
And Emily Kane by Art Brut
Plus what would you call that type of music? British alternative? I don’t know

It’s pretty much called britrock , though back in the early to mid 90′s it was called britpop. If your in the UK i guess it’s just alternative/rock like stuff from nme/mojo, not really indie. I suppose you can even break down the bands even further. Anyway:
Oasis – britpop; other bands you big name bands you might like: Mando Diao (theyre swedish though), the hives, blur, the verve, kasabian, hurricane#1, ian brown, suede, jet, brmc.
Art Brut – Indie/Art Rock; Pulp, half man half biscuit, Maximo Park, The Cribs, futureheads, young knives, maccabees, Bloc Pary, Libertines
Bromheads Jacket- rock; stooges, little man tate, courteeners, milburn
