Lyla asked:
Do you think that this is the end even though it says on the official site “As such, this is not a full stop, but merely a time out; a dream set list, and a chance for the world to review the immense contribution that Oasis have made and continue to make to rock n roll.” ? I’m kinda worried about Liam’s voice
(… By the way, the track listing is secret, right?
And, another question, i live in Romania, that’s in Eastern Europe, by what time do u think i’ll be able to buy the cd?:(

Ok here’s my take…
A:) I don’t think this is the end because all the rumours were squashed today by Oasis’ publicist and the band members themselves. Although it is a “timeout”, Noel may proceed with his never-dying wish to make a solo album. He said he would before he was 40…
B.)Liam’s voice was crap at the beggining of the tour but when I saw them later on it was perfect. I think he has realized that he needs to warm it up before performing.
C.) Tracklisting is pretty secret however these will be on it: Aquiesce, Half the World Away, Importance of Being Idle, Supersonic, Stop the Clocks (not for sure but probable).
D.) Not too sure, but i’m in Canada and I get it about 2 weeks after it’s release.
Hope this helped
Cheers.
It’s only the end of their contract with Sony, the boys from Manchester will still be pumping out music for some time to come.
As for Liam’s voice, it was fine at the start of the tour, you have to remember they toured for a year and a half. And his voice has often failed due to fatigue (see the concert in Italy when he left part way through). But I wouldn’t worry Noel always gonna be around to pick up his lil’ brother’s mess
I’m guessing it’ll be out by November 11 in Romania, but remember it’s a “best-of” album so the songs (for the most part) are all available.
Hope that Answered yer question
Cheers
