How possible is it to bring London bands to come to Botswana Afrika for benefit concerts(HIVAIDS) initiatives.

With my 13yrs of radio presenting (Radio Botswana),i can assure you that your music has a lot of following in Botswana (rock,classics,progressive etc).We are not big like South Africa but for sure we like your music.With a benefit concert ,im sure ,my people will be happy to share live stage shows with you guys.U2,Sting,Oasis,and Rr n B groups ,i mean we need you guys to fight our HIVAIDS plight with us.Somebody say something.

    Not very possible by the looks of things. They would still want to be paid and their expenses met.

    Why don’t you go on the websites of the bands you mentioned and email them to see if they will help your plight or better still get in touch with Bono and see if he can help you,good luck.

    You would have to contact the Agents of these bands directly and ask them….i expect that it would depend on the media coverage how many would say yes……sad but true.

    There are various ways in which you could bring London bands to Botswana – but I think the best would be by plane.

    It’s so much faster than a boat.
