and

    I am not a Manc, from London but I flew all the way to Seattle in August to see Oasis. I also had tickets to see them in NYC last week but couldn’t go at the last minute.

    My Manc colleague was very jealous!

    Oasis are popular but I would say The Stone Roses are definitely the most revered Manchester band (and the best)

    The majority of teens in manchester are “emo” or “scene” kids and listen to all sorts of bands. You will probably find some of them like oasis =]

    No, as many people dislike oasis as like!..there bad sterotypes, there more stockport than manchester!
