For my English project we have to find a song and find parts of speech and identify different terms within the song.

I am doing “Live Forever” by Oasis but I need help with this line-

“Maybe you’re the same as me

We see things they’ll never see”

This doesn’t actually mean seeing, it means how people think, but I’m not sure what this is called. Is it a metaphor?
