I am looking for my long lost friend who live (or used to live) in Al ain, UAE better known as Dubai! Their names are, Tanzeel, Eman, Uzma (3 sisters), Nazneen, Nahida, Razia, fatima, Maryam, Nilufar, etc They are all either from (or used to be from) Oasis school and Darul Huda (both situated in Al ain). I just remember the chorus repeating “We don’t want to live forever” or “Do we really want to live forever?” Something like that… It’s not Queen and it’s not Oasis.

I want to build a small village nestled away in the mountains. A place that’s self sustaining and where people can live their lives free of the stresses of daily life. I want this Oasis to be a refuge from the false images and generalizations that we, as a society, have created. I’d like for this place to be full of people who genuinely care for one another and who want to get along. Obviously, this place would have a system of ethics that all citizens would come up with together, as well as a system of consequences for breaches in these guidlines (can’t stay aymore, etc) but overall, I just want this to be a place of peace, tranquility and freedom from unrealisitic pressures society places on people….Who’s with me?
