i have a treeing walker coonhound. he is 8 mo. old and this is his first spring. we live in tucson az and we have a lot of blooming plants and grass in our yard. we do not have anything poisonous to dogs but everything is in bloom. hard to believe in this climate but we love having an oasis in our yard and work hard to keep it we just don’t want our dog to be miserable. our pooch has a rash inside his ears and some redness in between his toes. not to mention the inside mouth red and inflamed
OK, it’s a beautiful day. We live in the city but have an oasis for a backyard. There is a major mill renovation down the street from us and now there is an overpopulation of rats in our neighborhood. In my opinion, one rat is an overpopulation but I digress…I called the city to put bait traps out however for today, I’d really like to take my daughter outside and cannot becuase this freaking rat is back there by my fence and will not leave. Does anyone know how to scare the tar out of a rat with household products? BTW yes, we keep our yard clean. the rats are unavoidable in the city, especially with major construction. we’ve done really well making our yard not rat friendly but our backyard neighbors have a dog and don’t clean up it’s ****. the city won’t do a thing so i’m just looking for an immediate fix. my poor daughter is stuck inside on this beautiful day and that’s not cool…
1. Rat ***** does attract rats
2. Used to work for the city and have cited from the lawbooks on it. they claim they are so busy.
2. Does peppermint really work??
Personally I think Dig Out Your Soul is another great album from a very great band. It’s not the next ‘(Whats the Story) Morning Glory’ but most people where expecting that. The 90’s have gone but at least the band are moving on. However, if you listen to Dig Out Your Soul, you would be mistaken for thinking you where in the 60’s. Many of the tracks do sound very similar to the Beatles. But then again they are one of the Oasis’ biggest influances so it’s no surprise. I don’t want to write a full review, I could write in detail about every song but then I would probably end up writing a whole book along with my own autobiography so I won’t. I will mention the following songs though:
Bag It Up, a great intro for the album and probably one of my favourites off the album. Alot of people have been agreeing with me.
Waiting For the Rapture has gone down a storm at Live Shows. Liam isn’t happy that it’s sung by brother Noel, but I think Big Brother has made a splendid job of singing it.
Another song worth mentioning is not by the hand of chief song writer, Noel, but by brother Liam. I’m outta time is probably the best song off the album as most reviews are saying. It is certainly the best song he has written of his career, if not the classic Songbird, and shown the rest of the band he is just as good as brother Noel. Adding to this is his voice. Liam tends to have a more ‘grizzly’ voice nowadays but in this case, he sounds much more like his former, younger self. Job done Liam!
Like I said I could write about every song but there you go. So please give me your rating of Dig Out Your Soul. For me 8/10.
Cheers.
